We are overjoyed to announce the safe arrival of our joint medical mission team in Ethiopia! On June 14, 2026, 15 dedicated medical professionals and volunteers from the United States officially touched down at Hawassa Airport.

Brought together by the Mako Foundation and Project C.U.R.E. Clinic, this passionate team has traveled across the globe to deliver critical healthcare outreach and compassionate service to underserved communities in Shashamane, West Arsi, Oromia.

From June 13–20, 2026, the team will be working hand-in-hand with local healthcare professionals at the Shashamane Comprehensive Specialized Hospital. Together, they will focus on primary clinical care, health education, and providing essential medical resources where they are needed most.

This arrival marks the culmination of months of intense logistical planning, collaboration, and generous support from our global community. The team is energized, equipped, and incredibly eager to begin their service alongside local partners.
